Job Description

The Cloud Technical Practice Team Böblingen provides on-site and remote consultancy for our customers to transform their Business on hybrid IBM Cloud solutions. Consultancy ranges from the integration of services based on Bluemix Technology up to security and monitoring as well as solution design and application development.

You are working with our customers’ development departments to enable them leveraging the IBM Cloud portfolio, deploying newly developed applications, as well as you’ll discuss with the business line new opportunities and requirements. As member of the Technical Practice Team, the focus is on enabling customers and the field to become self-sufficient. Typical examples of the deliverables are cloud solutions running in pilot production mode and then being rolled out to production. We are engaged in the European market, typically in UK, Germany, France and Italy.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 1 year experience in WebService Technlogy
• At least proficient in Java or Javascript/ node.js and SOA technologies, Web Services, oAuth, SAML 1.1 & 2.0
• At least familiarity with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc), PKI concepts, SSL, multi-protocol gateways
• At least familiar with Cloud Computing Concepts
• Basic knowledge in Networking Concepts
• English: Fluent
• German: Fluent

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• At least familiar with Solution development on IBM Bluemix
• At least proficient in w/ IBM api-connect
• At least one year proven experience with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc), PKI concepts, SSL, multi-protocol gateways
• At least proficient in Cloud Computing Concepts
